Watching people that make art like they do, well, it makes you want to try it out! I can’t dance, and I don’t really have access to the locations those guys do, but I still wanted to try it out. I love the sparpness effect of the bitmaps in a mirror, glass or in water.I’ve followed my friends Eric and Kim for some time, often marveled at their creativity and the tech side of things, too. THANKS to all of my supporters!! ??? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Ī confuse one from the archives during a bitmap file run with #Magilight by #Fotorgear. I'm happy to be a part of an artform that connects people all over the world. Because of this fact I'm an active part in the UK community and got so much advices and information from there! ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm based in Germany, our EDS community is much smaller than in the UK. I recognized that friends with own disabilities can understand my problems much better as someone who is very healthy.but hey! I don't even expect that any longer.myself coudn't imagine before that hEDS can get that worse till as it came to me.? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ĮDS COMMUNITY. ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀īUDDIES are my best supporters too.
? My son help me in the garden.he's a good one! ? #thelawnmowerman ?? My wife had difficult times with me through my health probs. They doing it's best and I'm blessed to have such good parents who take care of me.? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀įAMILY.ok.??.my kids are teenies, so: no help to expect in the household. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Īt first my PARENTS was and ever will be my strongest supporters.sometimes you need someone who gives you courage. Without supporters our life would be so much harder. It’s a fun challenge trying to find new compositions and ideas.Īnother one for the #myEDSchallenge founded by society: I really love shooting at this ranch and I’m thankful to be able to do it once a year. The wide aperture also gave the background a nice soft blur for some good depth of field.

After that, I carefully adjusted my manual lens from f/11 to f/1.4 to expose the background for 10 seconds. The process for this photo began with me using a strobe to illuminate WestR in the mask, then I grabbed my Magilight and rotated it while displaying my design behind him. I created the design in the background using Adobe Illustrator and loaded the bitmap image onto my Magilight to display in this light painting photo. My friend WestR kindly modeled for me while I lit the scene! It was a fun time. I ordered this fox mask kit for Halloween last month and it took me waaaay longer than expected to put it together, but it came out really nice! I initially purchased it for use in light painting and I finally got to shoot with it last week while on a hunting trip in Wyoming. My last shot of a great weekend LP meet up. Had to bring the highlights right down in post as the smoke hung around so long that the backlight started to burn out and obscured the runes.
Tom then switched the laser off and backlit me with a Klarus XT11s with a teal gel and waved his Magilight perfectly, to create the circle of Runic symbols. Moved camera to 2nd tripod and manually set focus point and fstop then I turned on the laser and stood between it and my camera and asked Tom to light a smoke pellet and uncap the lens so the laser could burn in.
1st I rotated the camera stopping at random points and uncapping the lens (Legacy Sigma Ultra-wide 24mm f 2.8) to expose the fibres. All shot in 1 shutter actuation, using Light Painting Paradise Black Fibres with a red gel to match my red laser set up behind me. Luckily for me, the extra digits belonged to Tom Hill who was also equipped with a Mini-Magilight and a skill for painting accurate geometric and organic shapes that is second to none. It is always useful to have a second pair of hands to be able to do all the fiddly bits whilst you are standing motionless in a tunnel on a dismantled railway.
